Lauren Wilbur is a self taught, passionate, acrylic artist known for her bold, vibrant colors, and textured style that evoke a whimsical and creative way of seeing uniqueness and beauty in animals and nature. 

Spending her twenties feeling unfulfilled by a winding, changing career path, she often found relief and entertainment from art in her downtime. In 2026 Wilbur finally launched herself into pursuing art full time. Having developed a technique for dotting and texturing using acrylic and mixed media she opened Painting Pig Studios with the simple hope of finding joy in what she was doing everyday.

Wilbur’s goal is to inspire, spark joy, and challenge viewers through her vibrant, energetic, textured paintings. Serving as a reminder to never dull your colors and always take the chance to go after your dreams, even if they seem a little on the wilder side.
